New

New
We greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to all of those affected by the Kumamoto earthquake and we pray for the Lord’s hand to bring help and comfort to each and every one.
Up to this point we have received various reports of churches in the Kumamoto area
Whose members have been affected by the disaster. There are also churches which have been damaged with cracks in their walls and some that have had their mausoleums damaged. Also, because of the continuous aftershocks many people cannot get enough rest and are left emotionally and physically exhausted, living in anxiety.
We will continue to support the rebuilding and relief work of the Great Tohoku Earthquake but we also want to express the comfort and love of God to those affected by the disaster that occurred in and around Kumamoto prefecture. I feel that we need to come together and tangibly reach out as an organization. Many churches have already taken action by praying and giving. There are also churches near to the disaster area as well as throughout Japan that have started working cooperatively to send out teams to do relief work. Right from the start, on April 16, the Japan AG Disaster Relief Headquarters jumped into action by contacting the affected pastors and confirming their situation and is continuing to respond to the needs.
We are so thankful for the prayers and relief funds that have been given by churches throughout Japan and from around the world. Let us join our hearts together and continue to pray, give and serve in unity.
We pray that the Lord’s abundant peace and comfort will be poured out upon Kumamoto and all of Kyushu and for God’s protection over them all.
